Standing Together

Like many of us, I am deeply concerned about what the Trump Administration will mean for our country. As such, I will be participating in local events and invite you to join me and our community.

First, to stand together, build community, and support progressive values, I am helping organize an event at Devil's Canyon Brewing Company with other elected officials and local volunteers.  All event proceeds will benefit organizations committed to women running for office, environmental protection, immigrant rights and local families in need.
Take Action to Support our Progressive Values
Wednesday, January 18, 2017, 6-9pm
Devil’s Canyon Brewery
935 Washington St, San Carlos

Next, on January 20, Inauguration Day, join #ECRprotest along El Camino Real.  Go to the closest section of El Camino Real from noon to 1. From the organizers of the event:
  • Bring banners and signs expressing whatever concerns you the most about the new administration. Be direct and clear, but PLEASE, no hateful or violent language and stand on the sidewalk in a line, facing the road.
Finally, on January 21, join progressive activist JOAN BAEZ, Congresswoman ANNA ESHOO, State Senator JERRY HILL, Supervisor CAROLE GROOM and many other local leaders for a non-partisan, multigenerational gathering to affirm community values in Courthouse Square in Redwood City.

Hope to see you at one or all of these events as we stand together.
